Stacey’s 2024 Roundup

2024 has been a bit of a mare to be honest. It’s the year that has gone quicker than any other, but also the one I thought would never end. There’s been some massive highs; delivering 68 events across 10 countries and 4 continents, welcoming some absolute superstars to the team, (yeah I’m talking about you guys, Dom, Mika and Bella), and there’s been some sad lows too… only I can’t actually think of any, and neither could the team when I asked them. So basically, it’s been a banger. Just a long ass banger that I couldn’t wait to finish.

January saw King Dom start with Team Goho, he was here doing a handover from the amazing Mari who went off to join a Brazilian marketing agency so she could combine her two loves, and Dom took over and then went off to have a baby. Standard.

He was back in Feb and ready to go! Working on Brew//LDN - an event we sold out, and also whipped up a social media storm for many of our other clients,

We also delivered the first Local Nature Partnership event for Neath Port Talbot Council, they wanted a big event to launch their State of Nature Report and Nature Recovery Plan and boy did we deliver it, they were blown away and immediately booked us to deliver a follow up event for them in the Summer.

In March we delivered our inaugural Bloody Brilliant Women Lunchtime Supper Club, we did this in partnership with Tile Hill and had a full house of Bloody Brilliant Women, and Bloody Brilliant Goody Bags too. Then we went off to Marrakech for M&I Fest and came back to deliver our 5th birthday party at Mama Shelter in East London. It was a blast. The cake was incredible too, as were the goody bags, obvs. (Are you spotting a theme emerging here)?

Then it was April and we were all on site at Brew//LDN at its new home on the South Bank, we not only did the PR and all digital marketing for the event, but also helped with delivery on the days (and nights) too, helping the team get all the guests in quickly (it was a sell out after all), and made sure to get banging coverage throughout.

When May came round we jetted off up to Leeds to deliver a couple of events at UK REiff, despite severe weather warnings, we still made a success of everything while the rest of the team started doing PR for our favourite Lucky Star Dean Friedman and his UK Tour, and continued with PR and Digital Marketing for the rest of our fabulous clients.

We hosted our amazing clients in June for a wonderful Pride Dinner, raising money for the fabulous Outspoken Speakers, and then helped again with the second instalment of Brew, this time as part of the Summer series at BST Hyde Park.

Dom created a few amazing websites for XXX and Hire It, while the wider team did offsites for Tile Hill, Elida Beauty, and ourselves at the amazing Barnett Hill, we delivered a Press and Influencer event for Etan Rum, delivered a MASSIVE new store launch for Gootopia and legged it over to Paris for Tile Hill’s incentive trip at the Olympics in Paris. It was hard work but WHAT A TREAT!! Before we knew it, we were on the home stretch and cooling down for Autumn.

More events were delivered and more clients were won. TERN, Dope Soul Village, Evolution Capital, Reindeer Lodge, all building our amazing portfolio of clients, cementing that we work with brands and people that we care about and that are doing good in the world.

The Autumn was a non stop merry go round of hard work, I travelled all over the world eventing, Vegas, NYC, Lisbon (twice), Bahrain, Paris (like every other week), and now my passport is full and I need to get a new horrible blue one. PR Placements flew in for all our clients, we started working on Brand Champions International Women's Day for next year, delivered a huge showcase event for Sugar Studios, and more conferences and fringe events than we can count. November saw us onboard even more new clients, PRS IN VIVO, Louise Howard, The Ice Cream Alliance.  Phew, stop for breath Stacey!

I think 2025 is going to be our best year yet. No, I don’t think, I know it! We have an amazing team, who are brimming with positivity and are the BEST team workers I’ve had the pleasure of working with, we all muck in, everyone gives a shit, and we ALL go above and beyond for our clients.

So bring it on I say. We’re currently closed for our annual Christmas rest, It’s impossible to be this good all the time otherwise, and yeah I wrote this before we finished…

Thank you everyone who has supported us, given us your business, recommended us, or just been along for the ride. It’s been tough but it’s been bloody brilliant. Now 2025, let’s be having ya,

Sx
