The Client
Elida reimagines classic beauty brands, giving them a fresh spin for a new generation. Think iconic favourites with a modern twist, ready to shine brighter than ever.
The Brief
After a recent acquisition, Elida wanted to bring their senior team together for a day of learning, development, and connection. The event would kick off with a pre-event dinner for some attendees, followed by a full day of meetings, an engaging team activity, and a celebratory dinner. Goho was tasked with finding the perfect venue and creating an agenda that balanced work, play, and plenty of memorable moments.
Our Approach
Venue selection:
We curated a shortlist of unique hotels and presented it to the client. The winner? The Courthouse Hotel in Shoreditch, a venue with history and character—it was once a 1960s Magistrates Courthouse. Its quirky features and rooftop BBQ option made it a standout choice.
Agenda creation:
Working closely with Elida, we developed a seamless agenda that kept attendees engaged and energised:
Day 1:
Pre-event dinner at a local Asian restaurant for the core team.
Day 2:
Morning: Welcome tea, coffee, and pastries, followed by a morning meeting session.
Lunch: A private, buffet-style feast in the hotel restaurant.
Afternoon: More meeting time, with a coffee and pastry break.
Evening: Private hire of the hotel’s events room with bowling alleys, drinks, and charcuterie boards. After some friendly competition, the team enjoyed a rooftop BBQ with stunning views.
Day 3:
Morning: Breakfast and a half-day of learning in a private meeting room.
The Goho touch:
We were on-site from start to finish, ensuring every detail was perfect. From liaising with hotel staff to double-checking the setup, we left nothing to chance.
Last-minute macaron gift boxes? No problem—we sourced and delivered them in time.
Signature Goho goodie bags were a hit, packed with relevant items from our PR partners, adding a final touch of thoughtfulness to the event.
The Results
