Tile Hill is a leading public sector recruitment specialist, connecting top-tier talent with executive and interim roles across the public sector.
The Brief
Tile Hill asked us to plan a dinner for their clients after the first day of the The LGA Annual Conference and Exhibition which is a must-attend event for senior representatives working in local and central government as well as senior colleagues from other public sector bodies, charities and business. Tile Hill wanted to host a dinner for 40 of their friends and colleagues from the sector.
Our Approach
We love an event that blends good food, great company, and a touch of finesse. Here’s how we made it happen:
Venue scouting:
We researched a range of local venues, keeping ambiance, exclusivity, and practicality top of mind. Tile Hill chose the stunning terrace room at Piccolino, which offered just the right vibe for the occasion.
Invites and reminders:
We helped draft the invitations and advised on the perfect schedule for reminders, ensuring a full house on the night.
Dietary requirements:
With guests’ preferences and restrictions in hand, we liaised with the restaurant to ensure everyone was well catered for. No one left hungry—or disappointed.
Pre-event setup:
A few hours before the guests arrived, we were on-site setting the scene:
• Arranged the place settings and table plan.
• Laid out goodie bags at each seat.
• Positioned Tile Hill’s pull-up banners for brand visibility.
• Coordinated with the restaurant staff to ensure flawless service.
Event management:
As guests arrived, we welcomed them with drinks in a reception room before escorting them to the terrace for dinner.
The Results
The evening ran seamlessly, with three courses served on time and to glowing reviews. Guests mingled, laughed, and savoured the atmosphere, all while Tile Hill strengthened its client relationships over a beautifully curated dinner.
