TERN Group at the Care Show Birmingham and Roundtable

The Client

TERN Group is the first full-stack upskilling, global migration, and placement platform for skilled professionals. Whether it’s connecting top-tier talent with reputable employers or simplifying international migration for skilled workers, TERN is reshaping the way recruitment works on a global scale.

The Brief

TERN needed to make a splash at the Care Show in Birmingham with a last-minute opportunity to exhibit. On top of that, they wanted to host a drinks reception, roundtable, and dinner at a nearby hotel for local authority professionals, focusing on topics like immigration and NHS recruitment challenges. No pressure, right?

Our Approach

With little time to plan, we jumped straight in to make it all happen seamlessly.

The Roundtable and Dinner

TERN had chosen a hotel for the reception, but the hybrid roundtable setup threw a curveball. The hotel’s AV quote? A little steep. So, we found a local AV supplier that saved £500. Cha-ching.

We worked with the hotel to lock in the food, drinks, and setup. From branded name badges to perfectly timed fizz and canapés, every detail was ticked off.

The Care Show Booth

Time was tight, but we nailed it.

Shell scheme design: Our design team collaborated with TERN to create eye-catching booth artwork.

Event materials: Pull-up banners, flyers, and branded merchandise (powerbanks, pens, and notebooks) were designed, produced, and delivered at warp speed.

Furniture: Poseur tables, stools, and a side table with an all-green pick ‘n’ mix (matching TERN’s branding) to reel in delegates. Yes, sweets work every time.

Extras: Sweet jars, scoops, striped bags – no detail was too small.

The Results

On the day, we were there from start to finish, making sure everything ran like clockwork.

  • At the Care Show: Despite a flyer hiccup (they were delivered to the wrong place), our team worked tirelessly with conference organisers to locate them, saving the day. The booth was buzzing with delegates drawn in by the design, merch, and, of course, the sweets.

  • At the roundtable and dinner: We arrived early to oversee the AV setup, test the remote feed, and ensure everything was perfect. We greeted guests with fizz and canapés and kept things running smoothly during the Q&A sessions.
